In order to qualify as an approved driver for Movin Kidz, you'll need to follow a few simple steps and fill out a couple of our driver certification forms. Don't worry, it's easy and you'll be driving as soon as possible!

  • Service Provider Driver Registration form

  • Background Checks and Drug Test forms

Mechanical Inspection

Have your vehicle inspected by an ASE Certified Mechanic and have them complete the printed Mechanical Inspection Certification form (approx. $40).

Provide a scanned copy or picture of all 9 items listed below in one upload.

  1. Your Social Security Card

  2. Your valid driver's license

  3. Your vehicle's registration

  4. Proof of insurance

  5. Your vehicle's license plate

  6. Your vehicle's VIN #
    The easiest way to view your VIN# is to stand outside the vehicle on the driver’s side and look at the corner of the dashboard where it meets the windshield. If the VIN cannot be found there, open the driver’s side door and look at the door post (where the door latches when it is closed).

  7. Your vehicle
    Images of the outside of your vehicle (all four sides), as well as the inside of your vehicle

  8. Completed, signed, and approved Mechanical Certification form (from Step 2)

  9. Completed certificate from online PASS exam (Passenger Service and Safety) (from Step 4)


Final Steps

(Some of the companies in the following steps will require a fee for their services.)

  • SCHEDULE a fingerprint/background check with ORANGE COUNTY. (approx. $95)

    NOTE: If you are using this site, you are not to list Orange County Public Schools as your employer. Doing so will result in the rejection of your fingerprint transaction and you will be made to re-fingerprint at FULL PRICE

    To schedule a fingerprinting appointment, please follow these simple instructions:

  1. Visit

  2. Enter an e-mail address under “NEW USERS/SIGN UP” and click the “SIGN UP” button. Follow the instructions for creating a password and security question and then click “SIGN UP AND CONTINUE” 

  3. Enter the FieldPrint Code: FPSDOCVenDirConGrBadge

  4. Enter the contact and demographic information required by the FBI and schedule a fingerprint appointment at the location of your choosing. 

  5. At the end of the process, print the confirmation page. Take the confirmation page with you to your fingerprint appointment, along with two forms of identification.

    NOTE: Fingerprinting is completed for the purposes of doing an FBI national criminal history background check. By using this code you are instructing OCPS that you need to fingerprint. Having been cleared elsewhere does not guarantee clearance. Since you have told us you will have contact with students, the JLA will not be used to adjudge your eligibility. Instead, OCPS will use FS 1012.465 and district hiring guidelines to determine eligibility for a badge granting student contact. All decisions concerning criminal history are made by the School Board of Orange County. After fingerprinting, all communication should be directed to the school district. Do not contact FieldPrint unless instructed to do so by Orange County Public Schools. ALL BADGES REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF ORANGE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS AND MUST BE RETURNED UPON DEMAND.

  • SCHEDULE Drug Test (approx. $50)

  1. Call Test on Time at 310-310-1088 to schedule an appointment (Ask for Julian).

  • Time and location will be provided to you.

  • COMPLETE the online PASS exam (Passenger Service and Safety). (approx. $15)
